What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been a cat sitter for 10+ years. I am very familiar with watching body language before engaging in physical contact. All cats are different and all need to be handled on an individual basis. I can be as hands on or hands off as the situation needs and I am experienced in dealing with spicy cats. I have years of experience in medication administration, subQ fluids, as well as injections. I was known as the “cat whisperer” growing up and always could entice the shy cats to come out.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 6 cats at home! My sweet but timid snowshoe Siamese is Nicky. I have two tuxedo boys, Leo and Joel, who were littermates. One is long haired and one is short haired. I have a beautiful calico cat named Ivory. The household favorite is the sweetest Ragdol named Bruno. And my newest baby is a Bengal named Dracarys. He is leashed trained and travels with me.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

A household meet and greet is the first step. I am very organized and detail oriented so instructions would be asked verbally as well as via text. Typical behavior and known hiding spots would be reviewed as well as emergency vet contact information. I also have a follow up list of questions for each owner as well as how much facetime is requested for the situation/cat. Even if each visit entails me sitting on the floor just talking to a hiding kitty, no ask is too big or small!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
