I’ll want to know what their favorite toys are, how and when they like to play, and where their hiding places are. Also, for multiple cats, let me know the dynamics of their relationship! Tell me if they have any habits I need to be aware of.(One of my cats loves to open and close doors, so I need to ensure they are propped open so he can't close himself in a room!)
Regarding medical issues, I’ve assisted with giving an elderly cat IV fluids, giving shots to a kitten with FIP, giving pills in Churu, liquid and crushed medicine in food, and cared for a cat post-surgery after a leg amputation. So you can see, I’ve had a lot of experience with cats on many levels!
Full transparency because I want you to make the best decisions for your kitty: Regarding shots/needles, I can assist if you need help, but admittedly can’t give it myself, sorry. I am also not experienced in giving a pill outside of putting it in food. I don't have experience with a pill popper or shoving a pill in the mouth without someone else there to assist me.
I would love to help put your mind at ease while you’re away and take care of your precious kitty!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three cats named Romeo, Roy, and Doctor Griswold. Roy and Dr Griswold are named after Kevin Costner and Rene Russo’s characters in the movie Tin Cup. (“The Doctor is a woman!”) Romeo is our kitten (born 3/2025) who was named after Cheech Marin's character in the same movie.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am typically available during the holidays. I have to work during the holiday season so I don’t travel. I may need to see your baby a little early or a little late around my work schedule during that time but I can talk to you about that! Most weeks I only work one or two days so it shouldn't be a problem.
What is your favorite cat toy?
The laser pointer and the feather on a stick are my favorites. It’s been my experience that cats have different taste in what they prefer, but I love how either one of these toys will get them to jump!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Mckees Rocks cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
