I believe it is very important to let yourself be accepted by whatever cat you find yourself in the prescence of instead of forcing yourself onto them so you don't make them uncomfortable but also leave yourself approachable. I respect animal life and will do everything in my power to make sure when I watch over the adorable meows that they are well taken care of and can feel safe and happy too! I am very excited to potentially spend time with your beloved meows!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love seeing all sorts of new cat personalities and watching them have fun and enjoy themselves in all sorts of different ways! I also love being able to clean their space and make sure they are safe because it makes me genuinely happy to know there are cats who have a clean, safe, and reliable place to live.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I personally enjoy using a string or a wand that has a string attached! It helps the cat have fun with a long bendy object and i do not risk getting accidentally caught in the crossfire.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I feel it is important to let timid or shy cats take their time to get used to another person in their space. I make sure to feed and clean the areas as is expected, but also leave space for them right after so they can eat without feeling like the new person in their home is watching. I myself own a particularly anxious cat and I learned that all cats react different for anxiety, but I would not force the cat to spend time with me. I would sit next to it without touching it to show it that i mean no harm. If it did not let me get close to it, I would sit somewhere within its sight range and let it come to me.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
