Having grown up ... Hello, My name is Christine and I have owned cats all of my life. I currently own two house cats, an orange tabby and a brown tabby. Ginger is a special needs cat, so I am very comfortable with special diets and administering medicines. I am an office manager, so my work schedule is consistent, allowing me to only do once a day visits in the later afternoon on weekdays and once daily on weekends.
Having grown up with cats and owning them my whole adult life has helped me develop a good understanding of their different personalities and needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family member and making them feel at home, when you aren't able to be there.

I love the different personalities of the different cats and how they interact.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Meet and greet so the cat and the cat parent feels comfortable with me. I like to know all the information about the cat, what they like and how they normally are. I want the cat and their parents to feel comfortable with me too.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I try to enter houses through the garage when possible so I can close the garage door before I enter the home. I take all possible precautions to ensure cats stay inside their home.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am available during the holidays.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I often sit on the floor and talk to them and let them smell my hand and they usually come around.

He is elderly and Christine stays overnight for his middle of the night feeding time. Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Wind Gap cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Christine is responsible, thorough and an excellent caregiver for my cats. They took to her immediately like they knew her forever. She easily administered insulin to my one diabetic cat and pilled another. She went above and beyond for them, in addition to other household things like tending the trash, bringing in the mail, and noticing plants that a few plants needed attention. She kept in close contact the entire time we were gone, sending photos and updates. It's such a relief to be able to travel and not worry at all.
