I’ve always dreamed of having a cat of my own, but because of my current living situation and graduate school commitments, I’m not able to adopt one right now. Cat sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with these amazing animals while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve.
I know every cat has their own unique personality, whether they’re playful, shy, cuddly, or independent. I’m happy to follow your cat’s routine, provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, play with them, administer medications if needed, and most importantly, make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love that cats each have such unique personalities. I especially enjoy earning the trust of shy or independent cats and getting to know what makes each cat feel comfortable, happy, and loved.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I don’t currently have a cat of my own, which is actually one of the reasons I’m so excited to start cat sitting! I’ve always wanted a cat, but my current living situation and graduate school schedule don’t allow me to have one right now
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I’d recommend choosing someone who is reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about your cat’s individual needs. I think it’s especially important to find someone who will respect your cat’s routine and personality rather than expecting every cat to be cared for the same way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
