What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting as long as I’ve been a cat mom (14 years)! I am the go-to cat sitter for all of my friends and family. I’ve also become the cat sitter for my whole apartment building (13 cats live within 5 units of the building) As well as building my clientele on Meowtel since May 2025.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three! Fritzie is a female calico I’ve had since she was a kitten who is now 14, Mia is a female bobtail tabby I rescued as a kitten from a bad situation who is now 13, and my boy Benji is a Scottish Fold who came in to the shelter I worked at as a stray who I was lucky enough to be able to adopt. They are my children!! And I will love yours like they are my own <3
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I am indeed usually available for most all holidays. Sometimes my visit times bay have to vary, but I’m always very open with communication and coordination.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Letting cats feel like they are in control is sooo important for them to feel confident and open to new people. Going slow, letting them dictate the pace of interactions, and offering treats are key to helping a timid kitty open up. Offering playtime also helps bond with the cat and show them you are trustworthy.

We cannot recommend Megan enough! We recently lost one of our cats, to say we were nervous and sad to leave our babies behind is an understatement. Megan was trustworthy, punctual, wonderful with the cats, a great communicator and even successfully administered medications! Knowing our fur babies were being looked after and loved gave us so much peace. We will definitely book again with Megan 10/10!

Being away from your kitties is never fun, but Megan made it so much easier! It was the first time we had ever hired a cat sitter (we always had family nearby to look after them). Megan was knowledgeable, attentive, and very communicative throughout the whole process/visits. We also loved all the photos and videos she'd send us! Megan is an awesome, trustworthy cat sitter and would highly recommend! :)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Greenville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $22.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
