What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've had cats since I was five years old (don't forget to check out the photo on my profile!) and I've been a proud cat mom my whole life. Professionally, I've been working as a cat sitter since 2022, and I also volunteer at the Humane Society, where I've learned lots of great tips and tricks for feline enrichment.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Get to know different cats' personalities and routines. Each one likes a specific food or treat, has a secret place to sleep and a favorite toy.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my most memorable and rewarding cat sitting experiences involved caring for a large group of cats in a single household. It required strong organization and time management to handle feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their well-being, while still making time for interaction and comfort.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Price alone does not define quality. When choosing a cat sitter, be aware that not all individuals have the same level of professional preparation. Always verify experience and certifications, especially for medical care (š©people may call themselves professionals without proper training), and check reviews or references. Your catās safety and well-being should always come first.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I usually take reservations during holidays! And my clients always give me positive feedbacks about how they appreciate my flexibility.
What is your favorite cat toy?
The cat wand. I feel like the cats are mesmerized by the movements of the toy on the end of the string. Itās beautiful to see them jumping and having fun with it.

Francyne is amazing! We have an elderly cat and feel much less stressed knowing that Francyne will provide a great level of service. She always goes above and beyond. She spends quality time brushing and playing with our cat in addition to cleaning the little boxes, freshening water bowls, etc. She recently did a photo shoot for the 4th of July. This was such a nice surprise and our cat looked so cute and festive! The pictures provided and daily updates are always nice to get.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Greenville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Francyne is an awesome cat sitter! She did a great job with the intense instructions for my geriatric kitties; instructions that included very specific measurements of prescription food with powder medication and water added and administration of insulin injections twice daily to one of my old boys. She also kept their place very tidy which is difficult with senior cats with health issues and sent cute pictures of the boys each visit. We will definitely request Francyne again when we need a cat sitter and you should tooā¤ļø

Francyne was amazing and went above and beyond. She was very calm and patient with my timid cat who doesnāt like to be around strangers. She was a great communicator and sent me lots of photos and videos of my cat. She followed all of my instructions and left my place cleaner than I expected by offering to empty the trash so it wouldnāt smell. I really appreciated her willingness to help bring inside unexpected packages delivered to my front door. I felt confident leaving my cat knowing he would be in good hands. She even took out his toys and tried playing with him even though I said he might be too scared. By her last visit, he started to warm up to her and not run away immediately. I would recommend Francyne as a pet sitter to anyone and will definitely be my first choice when I need to go out of town again.
