My previous senior cat (Kitty) had lot of medical issues later in life, so I'm very used to giving medicine and taking care of seniors. She was also very opinionated, so I'm used to the sassy and skittish ones.
I'm fine doing whatever pet parents want. Whether its dropping in or hanging with them for a longer period of time, cleaning litter boxes and food/water dishes are no bug deal either, and of course playing if that's what they want. I'm a picky cat mom with picky cats so everything is totally understandable 😁

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to help families out and seeing kitties. It can be hard leaving them for long periods of time, but it always helps to have someone who can check on them and make sure they're fed and taken care of
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Shadow and Blondie. My first cat was Kitty, but she passed sadly. I ended up foster failing with Blondie, mostly because my parents and I raised her and because she was the only survivor out of the babies
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to get as much info as possible, especially for picky cats. If they're shy or sassy or like their food bowl in certain places, anything and everything is best to know.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Always keeping all outside doors and windows closed. If a cat stays in a specific room, keeping them in that room and making sure they don't try to slip away. My kitten like to try and slide out doors, so I'm used to that
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Slowly of course. If they don't want to be approached right away, they I always do other tasks that I need to get done. I don't want to stress them out so I'm not making much noise or being all in their space

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
