When I cat sit, I immediately help take care of any basic needs- fee... Hey there! My name is Jenna and I adore cats! Our first cat we found on the street in 2017 and nursed back to health due to a respiratory infection and my family and I have been cat lovers ever since. We now have two cats that I actively care for, love on, and play with.
When I cat sit, I immediately help take care of any basic needs- feeding and watering them at the appropriate times, cleaning litter boxes, and cleaning up any messes if needed so there aren't any pesky stains anywhere. After that, I like to spend time playing, cuddling, or just relaxing with the kitties. I make sure to keep the house locked and secure as part of my careful and detail oriented personality.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The advice I would give to a customer looking for a cat sitter would be to find someone who is experienced, responsible, and holds a similar temperament to cats… in the positive ways of course: someone who is calm, sweet and curious/attentive. This way, your cat sitter and your kitty can mesh beautifully together.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available during the holidays! While I do enjoy spending time with my family, it’s also a joy to be a blessing to someone else and cat-sit so they can travel as well!
What is your favorite cat toy?
While I find that moving strings/ribbons stimulate the chase reflex in cats, I like to pair a silvervine stick with a toy to help reduce anxiety and promote better dental hygiene with the kitties.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
