What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

Cats have been part of my life since I was a kid, and I have been a sitter in one regard or another for 21 years. Aside from caring for family and friends' pets, I began a small pet-sitting business in 2018 at our prior duty station before moving to South Carolina. After three years in Kershaw County, we made our final military move to Edgefield County in July 2023.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

A shy senior duo are one of my favorite reservations. I spent a lot of time sitting near them quietly, reading aloud softly, and singing little songs to bring them out of their shells. Eventually, Hurley greeted me with head butts, leg circles, and snuggles during glucose checks. Bayou became my spirited shadow who played peek-a-boo in tunnels, rolling across the floor for wand toys and squeakily telling me about her day. They are a constant reminder of how shaping visits to the needs of the cats and their humans can create a beautiful bond and experience.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Currently, I have two curious kittens of my own. Wren is a talkative princess who lives for shoulder rides and giving hugs. Beauregard is a fearless daredevil who recharges his batteries by making biscuits on your lap.

I was extremely nervous leaving my cats alone on a trip with a stranger but Megan was kind, accommodating, and very reassuring that they were safe and well cared for. she updated daily with pictures and was timely in response. I received plenty of photos of my happy cats.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
