What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I always confirm availability. Not just overnight, but also when I'll be home during the day and if kitties will be okay while I'm gone. (Do they have timed meds? Need lunch?) Then I have a list of 'in case of emergency' questions that I'll confirm and we'll do an initial meet-and-greet to get acquainted!

What is your favorite cat toy?

I love string toys on a stick! I think they are so funny! I have also left cat tv on for some kitties and they are absolutely hilarious about it. Chirping and staring at the screen. Most of all, I have yet to meet a cat who dislikes being brushed. It's satisfying for them and me to deshed and relax. It also helps prevent hairballs!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Having worked in a professional setting is a lot different than cat sitting. While sitting, kitties have the option to see if I'm 'okay' to them or not. Of course, I usually am. But giving a cat the option to seek attention, alone time, scratches, a hairbrush, or anything else that feels comfortable to them is one of the many benefits of in-home pet sitting.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
