Cats need patience, attention, and someone willing to han... Hi, I’m Renee, and I’d love to help care for your precious kitties! I’m a lifelong cat lover and currently own two torties — one short-haired and one long-haired. Cats have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly can’t imagine life without them.
I understand how stressful it can be to leave your cats while you’re out of town, especially when finding reliable cat care isn’t always easy. Cats need patience, attention, and someone willing to handle the less glamorous tasks too — because litter box duty is definitely not for the weak 😉
I’m here to help with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles (if your cat allows it!), and making sure your feline friends feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m very detail-oriented, communicative, and dedicated to treating your cats like my own.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a 15 year old long hair tortie and she’s been my ride or die! Likes only me but loves her pets and butt pats. I also have a 6 year old short hair tortie and she’s my feisty one! She’s the sweetest as well and loves to wrestle with my shih-tzu.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let cats approach me on their own terms and never force interaction. I focus on making them feel safe and comfortable. Funny enough, the cats owners describe as “shy” or “scared” usually end up becoming the friendliest with me!

My cats hide from everybody, and they’ll happily wait for hell to freeze over before coming out for strangers. Renee truly is a cat whisperer because one of them warmed up to her instantly, and the other one seemed pretty comfortable with her presence as well, which is saying a lot. She did a great job taking care of my babies. Came home to happy kitties and a tidy litter box which was extremely appreciated. She has excellent communication and sent me updates every single day, including multiple pictures which really helps to put my mind at ease. I’m a weirdo when it comes to my cats, ridiculously attached, and so I don’t travel as much as I would like to, but I’ll feel more comfortable doing so in the future, knowing that they’ll be in good, caring, and capable hands with Renee.

Unfortunately my cats were left without water for an unconfirmed amount of time, at least 24 hours). updates of the cats were great but I would recommend asking for pictures of food and water.

Jordan, I assure you your cats were very well taken care of despite not being informed one of them has stomach issues and would have diarrhea. As you can see from previous reviews I do not provide 2 star visits.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Argyle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
