I am a proud mom to five cats! Cats have been a part of my life since I was in diapers. During my almost decade of running my pet care business, I have often been told that I am the cat whisperer. So many people tell me their cat does not like other people, or don't be surprised if the cat doesn't come around. But when I'm with the cat, they become my best friend. They love all over me, want to hang out, and have a whole personality change.

They love all over me, want to hang out, and have a whole personality change.
I worked in an animal hospital so I am prepared to give medications. I have also had to give plenty of medication to my own cats and other clients in the past.
When I am with the cats for their drop-in or stay, I will ensure they are safe, healthy, not destroying anything, and well-loved. Plus, cat boxes will be cleaned, water will be changed, food will be put out or picked up, messes will be cleaned up, bellies will be scratched, toys will be played with, and pictures will be taken. If you are out of town, I will ensure that it looks like someone is home to keep up appearances.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been taking care of cats for 8 years now. I have a number of clients that have cats and dogs. A few of them that are just cats and those are my favorite.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I have a cat that I take care of during Christmas time named Hermes and he loves to greet me at the door. He will be right there yowling and telling you all about his day. He loves for you to sit right there while he eats so that y'all can chat. He wants to play once he's done and he will walk you to the doorway when it's time to leave.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have five cats that live in the house and one stray that I am trying to catch so I can neuter him. Their names are Kiawk, Link, Leeloo Dallas, Kaleo, Baphy. The stray we call Mr. O'Malley

Kristen is very responsive and really understands cats. She received and executed every instruction we gave her. She even knew when to ask questions for clarity when there was information lacking from our care instructions. Our cats were able to be happy and comfortable while we were away because Kristen did such an excellent job caring for them. We would definitely hire her again if another opportunity comes up.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Liberty Hill cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Kristen is the kind of sitter that will go above and beyond for you and your pets. Having pets of her own, she knows and understands all the ups and downs that come with them, she's very knowledgeable and professional and once you've worked with her, you'll be hard pressed to want to deal with anyone else!
