My current cat is a 17-year-old orange tabby who requires daily medication, extra attention, and plenty of love. Caring for him has given me valuable experience with senior cat care, administering medication, monitoring health changes, and making sure older cats stay comfortable and active... Cats have always been part of my life. I grew up in a home with cats and have personally cared for four of my own over the years, giving me decades of hands-on experience understanding their unique personalities, habits, and needs.
My current cat is a 17-year-old orange tabby who requires daily medication, extra attention, and plenty of love. Caring for him has given me valuable experience with senior cat care, administering medication, monitoring health changes, and making sure older cats stay comfortable and active. Even at his age, I still spend time playing with him to keep him moving and mentally engaged—and he happily follows me everywhere!
In addition to being a lifelong cat owner, I’m also a teacher. Working with students every day has strengthened my patience, observation skills, and ability to understand different personalities. Those same skills help me quickly connect with cats, read their behavior, and earn their trust—whether they are shy, playful, independent, or affectionate.
As a pet sitter, I focus on making cats feel safe, respected, and cared for in their own environment. I provide attentive care, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection so your cat feels comfortable while you’re away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for at least 10 years for family and friends. I love all cats and treat them as my own.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I presently have a 17 year old orange Tabby named Pumpkin. When my mom passed, I flew her 16 year old cat, Sunny, home to live with me.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My cat’s favorite toy is my pink bathrobe belt that he takes all the way up the stairs, down the hall, into my bedroom, then my bathroom, and deposits it in my closet. He does this at least once or twice a day.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Tomball cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
