This meeting helps you assess their professionalism and personality. Ultimately, trust your intuition when choosing someone to care for your beloved cats.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Cats often get stressed by new people or changes in their routine, showing it through hiding, vocalizing, changes in eating or litter box habits, aggression, or body language like flattened ears. My approach is to let cats set the pace, observing their comfort levels, and offering gentle, quiet interactions on their terms. I use positive reinforcement like treats or play to build trust. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience as they adjust.

Amanda was my cat sitter when I lived in Virginia and I couldn't have been more grateful for her! She took care of and spoiled my two diva girls anytime I was out of town. They are both shy so I appreciated her patience with them and she won them over quickly. She knew their favorite toys and treats and would send me lots of photos while I was away so I could see that they were in great hands. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
