What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I love most about cat sitting is the chance to make each cat feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while their humans are away. Every kitty has their own personality and rhythm, and I genuinely enjoy figuring out how to connect with them—whether it’s through play, cuddles, or just quiet companionship. There’s nothing better than earning a cat’s trust and then having them curl up beside you or flop over for belly rubs (if you’re one of the chosen ones!). A purring cat, a cozy blanket, and knowing I’m helping them feel at ease—that’s my kind of perfect day.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I share my life with two amazing cats who couldn’t be more different. Salem is just over a year old and an energetic little explorer—she lives to play and has a favorite yellow mouse that mysteriously turns up everywhere: the bathtub, behind the toilet, inside shoes, under the couch—you name it, she’s stashed it there. She keeps me on my toes in the best way. Spiderman (yes, that’s really his name!) is 13 or 14 and an absolute foodie. His top priority is mealtime, and in his opinion, the greatest crime ever committed was the time dinner was served five minutes late. They balance each other out perfectly, and I adore them both!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Wand toys—hands down! I love how interactive they are, and it’s so rewarding to see cats light up when they get to pounce, leap, and “hunt.” Whether it’s feathers, ribbons, or that crinkly plastic they all go nuts for, I’ll happily wave it around like a total goof if it makes a kitty happy. Plus, it’s great bonding time and gives even shy cats a way to engage from a safe distance. A tired cat is a happy cat, and wand toys make it fun for both of us!

She fed my cat every day as far as I know. Was late sometimes to feed my cat. Was pretty rude when gave back the key. I had to give her more specific directions I think, such as add water to the kitty fountain instead of make sure there's water in the kitty fountain.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
