I have taken care of cats since childhood and professionally for over 15 years. I have over 220 5 star reviews on Rover.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 3 rescue cats. They are: Shadow - he is 8 and definitely has some Russian Blue in him. He’s a sweet natured and gentle guy and very bonded to me (typical of Russian Blue breed) Umbreon - She is a tortie with tortitude and a dark type Pokémon. She is 6 and is queen of the house. Mochi - Mochi is the sweetest grey and white ragdoll moggie! She’s the baby and will be 3 this year.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Should you select me as your cat carer then we would first set up a meet and greet. You can introduce me to your cat and tell me all about your cats routine, favorite toys, feeding schedule etc. Once the sit starts you can expect a daily diary of what occurred during my visit along with lots of pictures to reassure you your cat is happy and cared for.

Louise was wonderful with our 3 cats. She was a thorough communicator and included lots of photos of our fur friends in action. we have one outgoing cuddler and two reticent who usually hide from all strangers… Louise managed to make meaningful contact every day, even developing trust, with our shy-est girl and giving her medication! Louise was also able to give our cuddle-boy his asthma inhaler every day and engage in playtime. we would eagerly hire Louise again for cat sitting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Kenmore cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
