My name is Jordan and I have owned cats for basically my whole life. I have a 3.5 year old companion named Rhea, and a 3.5 months old companion named Nyx. But I have cared for up to four cats at a single time before. I also have experience in providing medication such as ointments, drops, and pills.
I love cats because I appreciate all the unique personalities you can get with each one. The fact that cats are notorious for choosing to like you or not is a power play that I respect. I am also potentially biased as I am a Leo myself : )

Outside of being a pet sitter, I am a social worker. Currently, I am at The Evergreen State College working within institutional research. Prior to this, I was a researcher in the field of companion animals and animal welfare. My work has focused primarily on the physical and mental benefits of the human-animal bond and increasing access to pet care in underserved communities. My love for animals and the importance of recognizing our connection to them is what lead me to this work.
My time availability is very flexible throughout the day, even weekdays. The Olympia and surrounding areas would work best for me. Currently, I have a limited service radius, but please don't hesitate to reach out if you are outside of that and my availability matches yours!

Jordan was a fantastic cat sitter and managed to befriend all three of my unique personality cats, including my shy boy. She provided daily updates and wasn't afraid to ask questions when things came up that we hadn't covered previously which was great. 10/10 would definitely go to Jordan for my cat care needs again.

My 2 aging cats liked Jordan and were well cared for by her. She accommodated twice daily visits for feeds as well as different food, play and medicine needs for each cat. The feeding areas and litters were very clean and tidy even after a week's care. She manage the occasional cat vomit, some ants that showed up, and a last minute garbage day can roll-out too! I didn't need but actually really appreciated the twice daily pictures and messages. I highly recommend Jordan and will engage her again.

Jordan took great care of my kitty while I was away. She also took great care of my home- brought in the mail, took the trash out, and made sure my security system was set. My cat isn't the friendliest, but Jordan made him feel safe and managed to get in a little petting time. She even texted me when she spotted some irregular puking and was willing to put in the extra time to make sure he was alright. I would definitely hire Jordan again and recommend her to any cat parent.

As usual, Jordan went above and beyond to take care of our two cats while we were away. She diligently followed our care instructions and communicated updates clearly each day. She took special care of our cat with dietary restrictions and was patient with our other cat who is a picky eater :) Her calm, kind demeanor makes us feel comfortable leaving our cats in her care. I genuinely feel like she cares about our cats!! We are excited to continue working with Jordan.

We have 4 cats and Jordan was amazing with them! They all came out to play with her, even Blue, who does not like strangers. She was patient and consistent and just a joy to communicate with! she sent us little videos of the cats daily which was awesome - we really missed them. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Olympia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Once again, Jordan did an amazing job taking care of our two cats. She followed our instructions exactly and provided great updates. She was flexible with us when I made a last minute timing request.
