I am a full time cat mom of multiple feral and non-feral cats. I have had pets all my life and I love hanging out with animals the most. I have experience with cats, dogs, goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, pheasants, ducks, peacocks, and probably some others I am forgetting. When I am not checking in on your cats, I am out walking dogs, dropping in on houses needing home care duties completed, or meeting with clients to provide them with Tarot/Oracle/and Charm readings.

I am very particular with the needs of my cats, so I understand the particular needs you will have with your babies and I will do my best to uphold them all for the safety and comfort of your fur-baby. I am well-versed in all aspects of feline care, including the administration of oral, topical, and wipe medications. Whether it's a pill, a cream, or a gentle swipe, I've got you covered. Additionally, I am no stranger to multitasking, so if you need someone to water your plants, collect your mail, or even give your floors a good sweep, consider it done!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Ever since I could drive, I was always house and pet sitting for friends and family. My name spread around their friends and family and everywhere I have moved and worked I always ended up watching animals and taking care of houses. Eventually I joined some apps to expand my fur-family and over the years it evolved into a side business, until I decided to quit my corporate job and focus fully on animals. Animals have been in my life since the beginning and I couldn't imagine my life without them.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Other than the general awesomeness that is a cat, getting to know their quirks, their routine, their communication style, and their unique manipulation tactics; my favorite thing about cat sitting, is capturing their beauty and personality in my photography. Each new kitty-client is a whole new world of unique photos for me and the parents to enjoy.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
The one that still makes me emotional to this day is Pepper. A shy senior who took her time to accept me, but when she did, it was a holiday miracle. I'd visited with Pepper a few times before, usually a week or two at a time. She was cool with me, but we weren't friends. We were making small progresses in our own way, though she never left her closet while I was there. For this miracle visit, I was with her for two weeks around the winter holidays. Morning and night I came by. She never left her closet. On literal Christmas Eve, while I'm prepping her food, all of the sudden I feel a cat rubbing against my legs! She had never left her closet, and yet here she is, thanking me for taking care of her on our last night! How did she know? Incredible!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4 kitties! All of them found me and moved themselves in. I have Bean, a one-eyed tabby. Bruce, a beautiful Scottish blue. L'Orange, an orange dopey Velcro cat. BartholoMew an all black young cat who used a conduit to find his way to me through the universal cat distribution system 🥰
Are you usually available during holidays?
Absolutely! I love hanging out with animals around the holidays. If you have decorations up, I'm going to try and get some holiday portraits for you!
What is your favorite cat toy?
The Cat Dancer! In my experience, 99.9% of cats go crazy for it! Even cats who don't play much. It can be a game changer.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid, shy, and anxious cats are some of my favorites to work with. They take a different sort of care and extra time, but the reward of seeing them relax around you, or even make small progress is truly incredible. For them it's all about slow movements, a quiet house, lots of slowblinking, and respecting whatever boundary the kitty deems necessary to be safe. I like chatting to them, letting them hear my voice. If the parents have approved some slight bribe treats, that's always fun too.

I cannot thank Jasmin enough for going so above and beyond on this very challenging pet sit. She literally went stratospheric in her efforts for me and my cats. She transcended Cat Sitter and became a guardian angel. I have one very high maintenance cat and one low-maintenance cat. She managed the situation beautifully. My cats absolutely loved her, as did I. She took so many pictures that captured the personalities of my cats perfectly. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Tacoma cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

She's amazing! A family kitty i had to take in, who's also usually extremely skeptical of strangers, absolutely adores her! Jasmin is also extremely friendly and can be quite flexible with her time if you're also able to work with yours. Jasmin's communication and care for the cats was fantastic.
