My name is Kasey and I have always been a true animal lover my whole life, but cats just have a special place in my heart! I have always owned some sort of animal(s) over the entire 35 years of my life. I have lifelong years of experience taking care of many types, including seniors that usually need a little extra care.
I have watched many coworker's, family member's and friend's animals when they are out of town over the years. Even the toughest animals to win over, I have the patience to work with them until they are comfortable with my presence and also have a knack for winning over the most difficult cases, but will always respect the cat's needs first if they aren't having it. I have a special skill of being able to mimic a lot of cat sounds that helps me communicate and bond with them (crazy cat lady, I know!) My animals are my family and if you choose me to take care of yours, they will be treated just like family as well!

Right now, I have 3 furbabies, Haze, Rozay, and Scooby who are 7, 5, and 1.5 years old. Haze is a pure black rescue from a shelter who I adopted at the age of 1. He is my therapy animal and takes special care of me anytime I'm hurt or sick. Rozay is my pure white girly with pink ears and a pink nose. She was a christmas gift, but we didn't realize just how young she actually was, which was only 5 weeks at the time! She didn't even know how to drink water so for the first couple of weeks, she came to work with me so that I could give her formula several times a day. Our bond is extremely deep because of this, she truly thinks I'm her mom cat! And finally my newest Scooby is a rare chocolate brown girl with orange eyes 😻 she’s the glue for all of us and has brought life back into our lives again!
Unfortunately two of my cats suffer from PICA, but it has only taught me to be more aware of their surroundings and to pay more attention to how they are communicating. Learning this has also allowed me to connect even with the most timid of kitties over the last 3yrs of being a cat sitter here on Mewotel.
Anyways, down to the nitty gritty. I work as an Office Administrator at a family owned steel manufacturing company during the week in the Fredrickson area 7-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs. On Fridays, I am usually off by noon and can visit earlier in the day if needed.
Due to having a regular job, during the week I can only offer an evening visit between the areas of Eatonville and part of Tacoma/Lakewood after 4:30 pm. Weekends, I am more than willing to travel! Always ask even if you seem to be outside of my travel radius and I will let you know right away if I can make it work! On the weekends, I'm willing to travel as far north as Auburn, as far south as Eatonville/Yelm, as far east as Enumclaw, but again, it never hurts to ask even if outside of those as well!
I would love to help ease some of the stress of leaving your cat(s) home while traveling by providing professional, but also compassionate care!
COVID-19: I am fully vaccinated with my most current shot being in December 2021. I will respect any requests for face masks and/or will follow proper sanitizing protocols if needed, please just let me know ahead of time!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

University Place cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
