I’ve cat-sat for many friends in the past. I have experience... Hi! My name’s Lilli. I have never lived in a house without at least two cats. I currently have three purr-fect, and rotten, babies (all rescue/adoptions) and I am a frequent “victim” of the Cat Distribution System. I’ve decided that my love of cats needs to be shared.
I’ve cat-sat for many friends in the past. I have experience cats of all ages and temperaments, and have even made the most anti-social cats my buddies. In my life, I’ve helped raise many cats from kittens found abandoned to the clingiest of Velcro babies.
I want people to know that when they leave, someone is there to make sure that their cat is being loved and cared for as they would.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three cats who live with me (the other seven live with my parents). The oldest is a shy, big orange fluffy boy named Calcifer. The middle child is my precious, temperamental, calico cat-daughter, Bean, and the baby of the household is another fluffy orange boy named Hamish.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
As someone who has a cat who likes to dart towards doors, I ensure that the front door (or any door that they’re not allowed to for that matter) is closed and I try to do a cat head count when I get there and when I leave. I try to ensure that there are no hazards around (non-cat safe plants, chemicals, places they can get stuck) and I make sure that their water/food bowls are clean/fresh. I also try to make sure that their routine is as uninterrupted as possible.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have quite a bit of experience with this. My cat Calcifer is afraid of everything. I try to meet him on his own terms (letting him come to me for pets, laying in the room with him and letting him walk over to me, making sure my other cats don’t bother him too much, etc). I let them have their own bubble, but I don’t shy away if they want to come and meet me.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
