Theyāre all very special to me and truly feel like my children! šš¾ I absolutely love cats and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their little personalities, playing with them, giving them cuddles, and simply being there for them. When I care for your kitties, Iāll treat them with the same love, patience, respect, and care that I give my own. ā¤ļø My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, protected, and loved while youāre away. Iāll pay attention to their individual needs, routines, and preferences, and give them all the affection and care they deserve. How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Your catsā safety and your homeās security are my top priorities while youāre away. š±š ā¤ļø I carefully follow all instructions and routines you provide, making sure your kitties feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home. I always double-check that doors and windows are securely closed, and Iām mindful of keeping the home safe and tidy. I closely supervise the cats, paying attention to their behavior, eating habits, litter box, and overall well-being so I can notice anything unusual. I also respect your home and privacy as if it were my own. Iāll make sure everything is secure when I leave and will keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your cats are in loving, responsible, and trustworthy hands. š¾š
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and some need a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable. š±š With timid or anxious cats, I never force interaction. I give them the space they need, speak softly, move calmly, and let them approach me when they feel ready. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior so I can understand what makes them feel safe and what may cause stress. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, because familiar routines can help them feel more secure while their family is away. My goal is to build trust at their own pace. Even if they prefer to hide at first, Iāll be there patiently caring for them, making sure they have everything they need, while offering gentle affection whenever theyāre ready. ā¤ļøš¾

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
