For my entire life I’ve been well-known by both family, friends, and the local community at large for my legendary lore as an avid cat fanatic and friend of felines. As a kid I used to even pretend to be a cat, meowing and hissing at people such that it often got me sent out to sit on the steps in grade school. Cats have always been my favorite animal and being around them has been one of my greatest passions. I just find their personalities (and faces) to be extremely funny. I’ve fostered many lifelong bonds with cats as pets over the years due to a mutual understanding and love. For a long time I even wanted to pursue veterinary medicine, but ultimately became a human doctor instead. Nonetheless, when people think of me, my character and reputation are intimately and interminably linked by my almost mythological affiliation with cats. I am basically cat master and commander, a bonafide cat junkie, the cat whisperer (or more a propos) the cat pspspserer.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently only have 1 cat, a deaf white cat named Ghost. I have had many wonderful cats over the years as pets with whom I had deep connections and bonds.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Try to find someone who you feel you can trust and who has a real true passion for the animals.

What is your favorite cat toy?

A box. I love when I stick my head or hand on the outside edge of a box and a cat suddenly pounces up and slaps or bites it. Cats don’t really need fancy toys, just something simple like a box to act like a fool in along with some string or crumpled up paper to swat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
