When I care for your cat, I care for them the way you would. Meals are served promptly (yes, even if I’m being supervised — or judged — the entire time). Water bowls are refreshed, litter boxes are kept clean, and routines are respected. Playtime is always tailored to your cat’s personality, whether that means feather wands, laser dots, or a dramatic staring contest across the room. Cuddles are provided when invited and I’m more than happy to admire them from a respectable distance when they are not.
I also handle brushing, light pampering, and general check-ins, and I’ll keep you fully informed while you’re away. You’ll receive photos, videos, and detailed updates so you know exactly how your feline overlord is doing and can relax, knowing they’re in good hands.
Availability-wise, I offer early mornings and evenings during the week, with some flexibility during the workday if your cat needs a check-in. Weekends are completely open.
Your home, your privacy, and your cat’s well-being are my top priorities. I will never share that you’re away or treat your space casually.

I have two cats. Cipher is my loveable quirky little chonk of a man. He loves showers and will run you over to get to it. Adora is my 6 lb mainecoon imposter. She has the attitude of a large cat but the body of a kitten.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
This would be a high priority. Confidentiality would be the utmost importance. No one needs to know that the house is empty. I would also ask if the cats try to dart outside when someone is coming in so I know to open the door slowly to prevent them from getting out. I would also make sure all doors are locked and secure before leaving.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I take my time with them. Come down to their level and coax them with treats or toys. I will never forcefully try to pet them.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
