You can trust me to take care of your meow babies like they are my own. I can safely give medications if needed. I will keep the cat boxes clean and the food/water bowls clean and full. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have cat sit for 6 years. Most recently I stay in a home with two cats and the owner routinely fosters kittens as well. So I have house sat her cats several times.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy giving cats attention when their people are away. That way they know they're not alone. I want to give cat parents the trust that they can relax knowing their kitties are safe.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
That would be a home with two gorgeous long haired cats and their owner fosters kittens from the local shelter. In December 2025, I had the pleasure of kitty sitting her two pluses 4 6 week old kittens. I was in kitty heaven.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I've always had cats in my life. Pip is a gray kitten I rescued at only 3 days old. I bottled raised her. She was in a very fragile state when I got her. She is a healthy spunky 3 year old now. Captain I adopted from the shelter. He's a gorgeous cat with the color of a lion.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would seek out sitters who are experienced in administering medications and can recognize sickness in cats. Cat sitting is more than just playing and feeding your cat.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I meet with the cat parent and the cats. Get to know the cats routines and feeding schedules. Familiarize myself with where the pets supplies are and/or medications.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I make sure I enter slowly and watch my surroundings so I dont let the cats out. I follow all instructions giving by the pet parents and contact them if I have any questions. Upon leaving I ensure cats do not get out and I lock doors.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. I will be happy to care for your pet during the holidays while you enjoy it elsewhere. Happy travels.

Give them space and take your time. Do not force cuddles or petting. I worked in animals hospitals and shelter for many years and I've learned to be patient.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
