Hi! I'm Lisa and I'm a cat lady!

I've been around cats my entire life. When I was growing up, we had 22 cats in the house at one point! (Don't worry, we had plenty of space and my mom and I made sure all the litter boxes were always clean!) I know cats very well and I've never met a cat I didn't immediately fall in love with!

I'm happy to visit with your cat depending on your wishes and theirs. Just need me to stop by and fill food and clean the litter box? Okay. Need me to spend more time and have some cuddles or play time? Great! And if course, pictures and videos can be provided to give you peace of mind while you're away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

My favorite part about cat sitting is meeting new cats! And, of course, being able to give pet parents comfort in knowing they can go on vacation and their cats will be well cared for while they're away. What better job is there?

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 2 cats, Dexter and Olive. Dexter is my big boy tuxedo. He's very affectionate and always wants to be cuddled. Olive is a sleek black cat with a floofy tail. She's my silly girl, always ready to play hide and seek or just go for a zoomie run around the house

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Give them space! It's very important to interact with a cat on their terms. Allow them to come to you. If they are fearful or timid, speak and walk quietly. Sit near them to allow them to get used to your presence.

Lisa is a wonderful cat sitter. Our three cats have kidney, thyroid, and urinary issues, respectively, and each must eat a different prescription diet. We have to keep a close eye on them to make sure they don’t eat each other’s food while they’re eating, but Lisa handled that perfectly. Another great thing about her is that communication with her is incredibly smooth. She sent us daily text updates with photos of the cats, which gave us peace of mind while we were traveling. Whenever we asked for something new, she understood immediately and took action right away. We definitely want to hire her again next time!

Everything went so smoothly. Lisa came over and met our fur babies before our vacation, and she's definitely a cat whisperer. She immediately put all four kitties at ease. During our vacation, Lisa spent time with each cat (beyond just feeding them and cleaning litter boxes). She also sent me photos and videos so that I could see each cat and be reassured they were doing well. It allowed me to relax and not worry about them.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Phoenix cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
