Iām Jennifer (Jen) and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in Northern Ohio my family had a Dachshund but after moving and starting my career I began my love affair with cats!!
My first āsoul catā, Chloe moved with me through 5 states. I have been in Tucson over a decade and itās my forever home. After retiring, I jumped fully into cat rescue and was the cat coordinator for a local rescue for several years... Hi!

I have met every kind of cat and can usually get even the most shy kitties to come out and play! I have 9 (!) cats and 1 crazy dog who believes he is a cat! I am excited to help cat parents in Tucson be able to travel knowing their furry family members and homes will be cared for as if my own. I love to travel and know how difficult it can be to find the right person to care for your cat(s). I would love to care for your kitty and your home so your mind will be at ease while you are away!
I am trained to give meds, sub-q fluids and have experience treating diabetic cats & have successfully treated two cats with FIP. I have completed the PetTech CPR & First Aid training.
I am also a foster for the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter & Sanctuary.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I absolutely love cats and being able to help them stay on their routine while their parents are away brings me joy. Cats are much happier when they are able to stay at home and have someone come in to care for them. I also am happy to provide pet parents with a complete sense of ease when they are away knowing that I will always provide complete loving care to their cat(s).
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I actually have 9 (!) cats (and usually fosters as well) and 1 crazy dog who thinks he is a cat!! I love all of them very much and I think I have every kitty personality covered as well. Here goes: Boris (aka Chirpy), FranƧois, Freddie, Fuego, HenrĆ, Mimi, Ruby, Tito & Wyatt (& Jasper The Wonder Pup)!! I would love the opportunity to care for your cat(s) as well.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Safety and security are top priorities for me on every cat sit. I meet with the cat(s) & their parents prior to the sit so I can learn about each one. I make detailed notes regarding dashers, hiders & lovers so I am prepared for each visit. If I notice any potential safety issues I notify the client immediately and take action to remove anything that could be harmful. I exercise great care upon entering/leaving the home to avoid anyone slipping out.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I generally have availability on holidays and am happy to book sits during holidays! It makes me happy to allow cat parents to be able to go away knowing their cats and homes will be well cared for.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let timid or anxious cats take the lead. I do look for them to make sure they are okay but I would never force any interaction. Some cats just need food & water provided and litter boxes cleaned and thatās purrfectly okay! Often times once I have done multiple sits for these types of cats they realize I am not a threat but actually there for them and they relax and come out.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Tucson cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
