I have learned many skills to help release that pent up energy in our miniature predators and I bring interactive cat puzzles, toys, treats, and cat music/videos with me to every visit. Despite having never had the need for it, I also keep a pet first aid kit handy at all times.

I have experience feeding and caring for kittens as young as 4 weeks old and helping senior cats live their best life late into their teens and early twenties. Medication administration, specialized diets, and daily health care needs are all skills I keep in my tool belt.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have had cats my entire life, and I have been cat sitting for over two years! I have cared for elderly cats needing medications, middle aged cats with high energy needs, young cats who were very timid and hid regularly, and even kittens!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I ensure that I always keep a pet first aid kit within close proximity for every booking. Additionally, I possess my own car and license, so if your pet requires any emergency veterinary attention, rest assured that I have the means to accommodate. My utmost priority is to keep your loved ones safe. I will maintain a consistent and comfortable routine with your beloved pets, treating them with the same love and affection I give my own. I will maintain open communication by providing regular updates and capturing moments through photographs and videos, ensuring that you are well informed about every interaction and experience your pets have under my care. I will also take note as to where the nearest veterinary emergency hospital is to ensure no matter what I can help your beloved family members.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I am particularly good at gaining trust from scared cats! I have extensive knowledge on cat body language and behaviors, making me particularly skilled at showing your feline that I am not a threat. I never force interaction when a cat does not want it, and I move low and slow to avoid spooking sensitive kitties. I also avoid direct eye contact unless it is to slow blink back to your sweet babies.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
