I'm very patient and resourceful, and I will make every effort to connect with your kitties and help them feel safe in my presence.
We are a retired United States Navy family who lived overseas in Japan and Hawaii with our cats.
I'm available for chat through the Meowtel App during every reservation.
I offer 20, 45 and 60 minute drop-in visits along with 12-hour overnight stays for your convenience!
I enjoy taking pictures of your kitties being cute! I will send daily kitty photos and visit summaries through the Meowtel App.
As an added service for my clients, I will drop off your unwanted wet or dry cat food to the Hermitage Cat Shelter. 😻

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy the peace of mind that I can offer parents while they are away. I enjoy meeting your cats, giving them lots of sweet talking and pets, and playing their favorite games.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
In 2025, I adopted 2 young cats named Giada and Luna from Hermitage No-Kill Shelter. I've been a cat mom (and now cat grandma)since 1993.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
To give you peace of mind, hire a sitter who has invested time and money in certifications pertaining to pet sitting. I am proud to offer training as a Fear Free Pet Sitter and Pet CPR & First Aid Certifications.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When meeting new cat parents, we start with a free meet & greet. I follow pet parents on a tour of their home while writing down important information. I will have my own list of questions. When cat sitting instructions are detailed, if meds are involved, or if pet parents book an overnight visit, I will create a detailed list and send it to the parents prior to the first visit.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I do my best to see every cat during my visit. If needed, I will notify pet parents and ask for the kitties favorite hiding places. 😻 Upon request, I will pick up your mail and newspapers and draw your blinds to give the appearance of someone at home.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I offer cat visits during most weekends and holidays. I'm here to take care of your fur babies while you are enjoying vacation or traveling for work.
What is your favorite cat toy?
The wiggle worm wand toy is universally loved by my kitty clients, with the laser red dot pointer running a close second.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid kitties will be allowed to come to me at their own pace and time. I will talk sweetly to your kitties, offer treats as allowed, interact with toys, brush their fur, and offer my hand to smell before petting. anxious cat feel safe around me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Tucson cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
