What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been pet sitting/owned cats for the past 20 years. As a cat sitter I have done drop ins and house sitting for kittens, adolescent cats, adult cats, and elderly cats with complex medical history (seizures and diabetes). I have also watched over cats who have made it clear they are not interested in attention/touch or have complex relationships with other family pets and am able to navigate those situations well.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I would have to say that my favorite experience was cat sitting three incredibly different boy cats. One who is easily overstimulated, (he lets you know when he is done with body language) one who is just the sweetest boy who loved soft head butts and had an ibsatiable desire for food, and a highly rambunctious 3 year old who was taught how to say “play” and doesn’t let you forget it :)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

When looking for a sitter I would highly recommend someone who has experience and a patient demeanor. There is a lot of patience needed for care of animals as many animals can have complex needs that require attention to detail and time.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
