What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for around 15 years in both Denver Colorado as well as a more remote area in located in Hansville Washington where I use to live for several years and was the primary sitter for my surrounding neighborhood.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Every cat has such a unique personality. I love to find out what makes them get excited and want to play. I often have to cycle through several toys just to find out that its some random item that wasn't designed to be a toy. Or maybe you have to find the right way to use the toy before they'll take any interest. I know from personal experience with my own cats, that when their owners travel it can be so stressful to the cats left at home. I love coming in and helping to alleviate, or at the least distract them with a little play time, attention, or just sitting with them.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 2 Savannah cats which have been with me for over 10 years. Their names are Orion and Anubis.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Make sure the cat sitter you choose genuinely loves cats and can connect with them. Make sure they are responsible and committed to showing up and being present for your cat during the agreed upon time they are there. It is important to notice if they are aware of their surroundings like shutting the door behind them, aware of hazards that could occur, can slow down, ask questions, and pay attention to details and instructions you go over with them.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am available during all holidays. I work from home on a flexible schedule that allows me the opportunity to have a lot of freedom with my time.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
