What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
With over 5 years experience i can detect issues, solve problems amd make your cat/cats feel comfortable and welcome by treating them like royalty.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to know so many different personalities. Cats are like furry litte humans. My favorite part of sitting would definitely be the moment they allow me to pet them.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I love giving cats time to feel comfortable, keeping their food, water, litter, and playtime consistent, and making sure they feel safe while their owner is away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes i have one adopted his name is Mjolnir, he is a Bombay black cat. Then i foster two gray cats, Eatrella and Scrappy, Scrappy has beautiful green eyes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Feel out the Vibe, a good Cat person can get noticed by any cat even the fussy ones. Cats know the difference and they will warm up to a genuine Cat person.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Using a calm voice and keep the noise down. Most Cats canāt stand loud noises. Allow the Cat to approach, never look them in the eye for more than 3 seconds, be aware of all surroundings and possible escape routes, and always have treats available.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, due to my age and responsibilities i rarely travel during the holidays and i do not work full time unless it is for the Cats :)
What is your favorite cat toy?
I prefer dangling a piece of thin rope or string. That always tires my cats out letting them jump up repeatedly to try and snatch the rope. Tying a feathery toy at the end really gets them stimulated.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
You have to have patience, most people do not realize the Cat will test you to see how you respond. Remain calm, speak softly and present a treat and they always come around eventually.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- February 13-19: Presidents Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
