What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy learning all about the personalities of the cats in my area, and forming bonds with animals that I love!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Find someone who truly sees you and your cat’s needs. At the end of the day, you should feel comfortable with your sitter and know that your kitty is safe and with someone who will communicate with you and have passion for what they are doing!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Going through all the information such as the needs of a pet, house rules, expectations, and details are an important first step for new clients. I want to ensure that I understand you and your pet, so I can best serve you! I like to know about your cat’s personality, habits, and even favorite activities!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I am very aware of my surroundings, and like to check up on things like door-locks, windows, and any outside activity. As your sitter, my job is to keep eyes on your cat and make sure they are safe, but still free to be themselves. I follow instructions very well and use problem-solving skills in a pinch if something were to go wrong.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I know holidays are very busy for some, but I tend to plan out my holidays to be very stress free and mellow. I am able to do my college online, so working with flexibility is a skill of mine!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
As someone who is anxious myself, I understand and often feel extra love to the cats that are shy. I do my best to be gentle, kind, and be cautious of my movements around kitties that may be scared. I let animals get used to my presence, without forcing them to be a certain way. My job is to make sure THEY feel safe and comfortable, and I am very patient and understanding when it comes to this.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
