Whe... I’ve loved animals my entire life and have over 30 years of experience caring for cats and dogs. I understand that every cat has their own personality. some want playtime and attention, while others prefer a calm presence and space. I’m patient, gentle, and happy to earn their trust at their pace (I’m very comfortable with shy cats!).
Whether you’re away for work or traveling, I’ll make sure your cat is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing everything at home is going smoothly.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
My favorite part of cat sitting is the moment when the cat decides he/she can trust you and the bonding and snuggles start. I especially love when cats make bread.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My Process With New Cat Clients 1. Meet & Greet Before the first visit, I like to schedule a quick meet and greet so I can meet you and your cat(s), learn their routine, and understand their personality, feeding schedule, and any special needs. 2. Getting to Know Your Cat Every cat is different! I take time to learn their preferences, whether they love playtime, want lots of attention, or prefer a calm presence and space. 3. Care Visits During each visit I’ll: • Feed and refresh water • Scoop litter boxes • Play or spend quiet time with your cat • Check that everything in your home looks safe and normal 4. Updates for You You’ll receive updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is safe and doing well while you’re away. 5. Reliable & Respectful Care I treat every home and pet with care and respect, making sure your cat feels comfortable and their routine stays consistent.

As a small business owner, I have a flexible schedule and am available most holidays. I’ll make sure to care for your cat(s) and home while you’re away.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
For any timid or anxious cats, I’m patient, calm, and let the cats come to me at their own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Belvedere Tiburon cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $42.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
