Thank you for reviewing my profile. My name is Courtney, I have been a cat lover since my childhood and have been a cat sitter for around 10 years. I have experience with kittens, adult cats, and grandma and grandpaw cats as well.
I have experience administering liquid and pill form medication, special feeding instructions, giving eye drops, and wiping poopy butt. I approach each cat with respect and understanding that not every cat is a lovey cuddly cat but that they still deserve a unique and strong bond with their care taker.
When it comes to my own cats, my standards for care are extremely high, and I can only assure you that I apply that to myself when it comes to caring for someone else’s cat. I would love to offer my services and look forward to meeting your cats!

I have three cats at home, affectionately named Cheese, Spicy, and Baby. They are my darling angels, Cheese has Irritable bowel disease, Spicy is a tripod, and Baby is a tabby :)
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I like to make sure I know any secret hiding spots ahead of time in the event a cat wants to play hide n seek. I also prioritize safety when it comes to entering and exiting, locking doors and windows, securing any chewable non-edibles, and love to provide photo and video updates of your furry friend.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I adore shy babies as my cat, Spicy, is a shy baby herself. When it comes to caring for a timid cat, I let the cat make the rules and timeline!

This was our second time asking Courtney to take care of our cat, this time for a longer stay of two weeks, and once again she was wonderful 😊 She sent daily updates, photos, and videos that always made us smile and helped us feel connected while we were away. During one night when our cat had some vomiting and diarrhea, Courtney carefully checked for any foreign objects in both the vomit and stool, and let us know she only found a lot of fur. Thanks to her attentiveness, we were able to determine it was likely just one of our cat’s usual furball episodes instead of something more serious. She also cleaned everything up for us afterward, took out the trash on her last day, followed all of our instructions carefully, and communicated very well throughout the stay. Most importantly, it was obvious our cat was treated with genuine love and care ❤️ We trusted Courtney easily after our first experience with her, and this stay only reinforced that trust. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable cat sitter.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Culver City cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
