Iām a work-from-home, homeschooling mom with a very open and flexible schedule. Iām kind of a woo-woo chick and I like to surround myself with people, places, and things that bring me joy and good vibes. Animals are pretty high on that list, so caring for kitties is a pretty good fit for me.
I have a lifetime of experience as a cat owner... Just kidding! Every era is my cat lady era. My name is Elizabeth. I go by EB. Iām a mom to 2 amazing older kids, 3 cats, 3 dogs, a tortoise, a bearded dragon, and a half dozen chickens. As you can see, we kind of like animals over here.
Iām a work-from-home, homeschooling mom with a very open and flexible schedule. Iām kind of a woo-woo chick and I like to surround myself with people, places, and things that bring me joy and good vibes. Animals are pretty high on that list, so caring for kitties is a pretty good fit for me.
I have a lifetime of experience as a cat owner. Iāve had, and still have, cats with very distinct and different personalitiesā¦from shy, to playful, to mischief, to downright grumpy-pants. I let them show me how they wish to connect, if at all, and we adapt from there. Some need a little space, some need a little time, some are very clear that they do not wish to mingle. Thatās all okay. Iām patient, gentle, and Iām not above bribery with treats.
Iām happy to arrange a meet and greet and Iāll let you share your needs and expectations. Your cat will get to size me up, show me their comfort level, and probably judge and gossip about me later. Iām just happy to get to bring the kibble, give some scritches, and make some friends.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cats are always a vibe. I love meeting such a variety of personalities in compact little shapes and sizes. And cat people tend to be cool as well.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
We have 3 cats of our own. Beebos is our seeet, playful tortie. Noelle is our mischievous mega-chonker. And Blue is our handsome grouchy king.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience is key. Skittish kitties donāt need pets and cuddles. They need time to process and adapt to change. Their comfort and wellbeing are the priority, so I let them interact as much it as little as they prefer.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Hesperia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
