What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy meeting new cats and learning what makes them tick. Every cat is different. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to adapt my approach and behavior to make the cat feel comfortable and safe. (as much as possible).

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one cat, Finn. He is 5, and I adopted him 3.5 years ago. I won the jackpot with him. He is so chill- I take him with me in the car, I bring him to friends’ homes, I take him to the beach. He is very affectionate as well, and has made friends with many humans and dogs in the community. He is not friendly with other cats.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Cat parents know their cat best, so I ask them lots of questions. - what does their cat need? - what is cat’s personality like? - how best to spend my time at their home? - favorite toys? - eating habits? Treats ok? - dietary or medical issues? - how often should I check in with the parents (if at all?) - for parents who are concerned or nervous about leaving their kitty/ies, I do my best to reassure them they are in good hands. (And would send them a picture or two of their kitty to reassure them.)

Julia kept our cats safe and happy while we were away! One cat in particular is very shy and is rarely seen by our friends, and I was pleasantly surprised that she coaxed him out and was able to play with him on her first day. She sent us daily pictures which was very reassuring. I would hire her again!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
