Throughout my life, I’ve encountered many reserved cats in which their parents are shocked at how quickly they warm up to me and a... I’ve always felt a special connection to cats as they seem to ascertain whether you are deserving of their love and form their relationship with you based off their judgement. Quite opposite of dogs, earning a cat's love can take time but is very rewarding.
Throughout my life, I’ve encountered many reserved cats in which their parents are shocked at how quickly they warm up to me and accept my love. I definitely take pride in knowing how to win over even the most timid of cats and allow them to feel safe and welcome to show their unique personalities.
Outside of work, I volunteer with a wildlife rehabilitation center and care for many different species including bobcats! My love for animals is endless and I would love to befriend your special furry family members :)

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The bond that you create over time is something I truly value. I view animal relationships just as rewarding and important as human ones. Cats in particular can sometimes be a bit aloof or timid and developing a relationship with them gives me purpose and lets me know I’m doing something right.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The best advice I can give is to not only meet your cat sitter in person but have your cat meet them as well. I personally like to meet cats beforehand to allow them to sniff my hand, hear my voice, and be around my energy, so that they have a reference for who I am when it’s just us, and can hopefully jumpstart the bonding process. Of course you want to make sure you vibe with the sitter too, but I think it’s equally important to make sure your cat (who will be spending most of the time with them) vibes with them too!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid or anxious cats do best when given space and time to feel you out and/or come to you on their own terms. Cats are curious by nature, so given some time, most cats usually come around if ignored and feel like they have a safe environment to meet their new sitter.

Took very good care of my senior kitty. I get overnight visits because my cat is emotionally needy. I can tell when she doesn't get enough interaction because she will pee on my stuff if I leave her alone too much lol so overnight sitter she gets to snuggle all night with someone. Brittany followed instructions for kitty, her medicine and even fed my fish their pre measured food. When I can't home from a wonderful vacation, my cat was happy to see me, but not anxious or peeing on my stuff lol so I know Brittany did great with her :D would work with again

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Brittany was great! This was our first time using Meowtel and we are very pleased so far. During the meet and greet Brittany was both personable and detail oriented. While we were away she gave us regular updates with photos. When we arrived home our cats seemed in good spirits. We used a different service before and it was very hit and miss depending on who came to the house. With the other service we had problems with the alarm being set-off and someone locked themselves out of the house. It was a great relief to know it was going to be Brittany for each visit. Would highly recommend Brittany to anyone!

Both my Kitties really took to Brittany on their very 1st meeting, esp Snowy, who started to pose for her status update photos and videos after the 2nd day lol. She generally showed up in the expected time range, followed instructions and did all the tasks expected of her to my Kitties' satisfaction. I also received professional grade , well composed and lit photos and iOS Live videos of both my kitties from Brittany after each visit. I'd certainly hire Brittany again for my cat care needs. This is coming from a Cat Dad with a reputation for being too picky, sometimes annoying and not always organized / "put together".
