A little background: My first cat was a kitten named Snowflake. We got her when I was 7 years old, as a result of the incessant begging that began as soon as I could string a sentence together. She taught me everything about how to treat an animal, as well as what it means to have a feline best friend. We grew up together, and it cemented my love of cats the way only a first pet can. My current cat is my surrogate child - her name is Haley, and she's been with me for 9 years so far. She started out a shy and suspicious shelter rescue who wanted nothing to do with me. I didn't want to force it, so I resigned myself to a cat that I could see, but not touch. It took almost 2 years to see significant change, but she gradually warmed to me. She now follows me everywhere and insists on sleeping next to me every night, which I still find absolutely adorable. My roommate has a cat as well, and between the two felines, we have handled a variety of medications and treatments - supplements, flea treatments, eye drops, pills and liquids added to food, and care after a tumor removal and a leg amputation (not the same cat, thankfully!). ...
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and
receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Gift Card Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
