Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two girls, their names are Mimi and Blanche! They bring me so much joy and are so much fun.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
If possible I like to schedule meet and greets prior to any bookings so the cat parent has a chance to meet me and see my face. I also like to ask questions about the cat’s routine, vet, likes and dislikes, and quirks. I find many cat parents feel more comfortable seeing how their cats initially respond to me, so I try to have a quick intro with the cat to put the owners mind at ease. When it’s not possible to meet, I ask similar questions but request a little more detail so I can figure out instructions without having to bother the owner once the booking starts.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I am very careful entering and exiting my visits. I make sure to lock all doors both during my visit and after to keep everyone secure. I’m also happy to set alarms and take any other precautions to keep the home and cats safe!
Are you usually available during holidays?
I prefer to stay local for most holidays. I’m very flexible on scheduling and prioritize helping out during this time, since I know it can be difficult to find in-town sitters in LA during the holidays.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I find shy cats respond best to space and patience. I generally let them come to me unless there’s a specific reason I need to approach them. Most kitties warm up fairly quickly, and a treat or two can help speed up the process!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $34.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
