I understand that cats aren’t small dogs, they need patience, respect for their boundaries, and someone who pays attention to the little things. I’m comfortable with shy cats who need time and space, affectionate cats who want lots of attention, picky eaters, and multi-cat households... Hi! I’m a devoted cat mom of four, and cats are truly a huge part of my life. I have years of hands on experience caring for my own cats, each with very different personalities, needs, and routines. I also spent a few months volunteering at a cat rescue caring for multiple cats with different needs, medical conditions, ages and purrsonalities😻
I understand that cats aren’t small dogs, they need patience, respect for their boundaries, and someone who pays attention to the little things. I’m comfortable with shy cats who need time and space, affectionate cats who want lots of attention, picky eaters, and multi-cat households. I’m also very observant about appetite, litter box habits, behavior, and anything that seems unusual. I can administer medication like pills, liquid meds in syringe, etc.
During visits, I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep your cat’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’m happy to provide meals, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, enrichment, brushing, and, most importantly, companionship on your cat’s terms.
I know how much trust it takes to leave your cats and your home in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your cats with the same patience, affection, and attention I give my own, and I’ll happily send plenty of photos, videos and updates so you know exactly how your babies are doing. 😻

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have done it for some time, I have experience volunteering in cat rescue setting where I watched over 60 cats with different needs. And I have 4 of my own that are my whole world!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Meeting new kitties and caring for their different needs. Being able to provide a piece of mind for cat owners. I used Meowtel myself and I know how important it is to know that your babies are safe and happy in someone else's care.🥹😻
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My four sweet angels! Shangy is our oldest, 6 year old while gorgeous boy, he's shy and he's a daddy's baby. Ally is a 4 yo flame point siamese, my soul cat, my sweet velcro baby! Mimi is a 3 yo Tortie point siamese, sweet baby girl, very affectionate but has a tortitude towards other cats sometimes 😹. Gigi is the youngest, tuxedo girl. The smallest, runt, very feisty but mommy's sweet angel!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I follow directions given by the cat parent. I always make sure to enter the home carefully so nobody can get out 😻🐈⬛. I make sure to lock the doors when I leave, not leave windows open unless instructed by the cat parent. I make she not to leave any toys out the can be ingested. I make sure all cabinet doors are closed and secure where cats shouldn't be.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. I am usually available during holidays. Unless blocked off in my schedule on the Meowtel app. I update my schedule often.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love interactive toys cats can chase. Our new favorite is that disk launcher. They love to run after flying disks.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
If I have a timid cat client I give it space and time to come out if they like or stay hidden if they need to. Patience is important with anxious cats. No direct eye contact. If you are patient and let them be they usually eventually come out and accept treats and even pets. And if they don't want pets from me it's OK. They are the boss!😻

Elena did such a great job taking care of my cats! She was incredibly communicative from the beginning, made sure she had all of my instructions down, and gave me thoughtful updates every day. I didn’t get my camera fully set up before I left, and she even helped me with that, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, my cats seemed very happy and comfortable with her, and I felt like they were genuinely well cared for. She also paid attention to the little things and let me know if she noticed anything unusual. One of my cats has an eye that waters a little more than normal, and she made sure to mention it so I can have it checked by the vet when I’m back. That level of attention gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. I know I’m one of Elena’s earlier clients on Meowtel, but I would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone attentive, reliable, and genuinely caring with their cats!

She was so attentive, mindful, caring, understanding, and supportive from the first walk-through to going out of her way to deliver my house keys back. Elena’s updates were the most thorough and communicative I’ve ever seen or given myself (as a former Meowtel sitter) with concern for my little girl Luna of course, but me and my home too. I don’t feel peace of mind easily or at all with most sitters when I’m far away from Luna, but I did with Elena.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
