I have had cats for over 30 years and currently have two of my own (Mojito—age 6, and Ube—age 1). My experience with cats runs the full gambit:
—I’ve worked with shelters to foster and bottlefeed kittens... Hello! I believe cats are earth angels that choose to grace us with their presence. As your Fairy Catmother, I will watch over your fur babies like they are my own, providing specialized care and attention.
I have had cats for over 30 years and currently have two of my own (Mojito—age 6, and Ube—age 1). My experience with cats runs the full gambit:
—I’ve worked with shelters to foster and bottlefeed kittens.
—I’m experienced at working with older and sick cats with special needs, including administering inhalers and medication.
—I’m adept at coaxing out shy cats with play.
I have even trained my cats to sit quietly and wait for their food!
As part of my process, I’ll meet with you free of charge to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. You’ll walk me through your cats’ routine, and I’ll test all the keys before I go. Then off you pop, at ease in the knowledge that your cats are in safe and loving hands.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Each cat is different and has their own unique personality! I love watching a shy cat become comfortable, or an energetic cat leap 4 feet in the air after a feather toy. Cats are really special and intelligent creatures, and caring for them makes me happy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Go with your gut! Read through the bios and pick one that has the mix of experience and vibes that you’re looking for. I’ll always meet with you in person before your sitting dates to make sure you feel good about leaving your babies with me. Your, and your cats’, comfort and safety are my highest priority.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
For timid cats, I like to use a laser pointer or another favorite toy every time I come to establish that my presence = playtime. After a day or two, even the shyest cats are usually put at ease. For particularly anxious babies, I may put their food in the room where they’re hiding so they feel safe enough to at least get some nutrition.

Breah did a phenomenal job! I have a senior diabetic kitty who needs her blood glucose tested and insulin administered accordingly twice daily at specific times. I walked her through the process of using a glucometer and her feeding instructions and what to do if she is hypoglycemic. She took meticulous notes and asked lots of questions. She was excellent, did everything perfectly, sent photos of my cat’s BG numbers and was very communicative. I will absolutely book her again as I have a job that requires me to be away for several days every month and Breah is extremely caring, friendly, professional and trustworthy! THANK YOU!

My experience with Breah was amazing! Her offer to do an initial visit (free of charge) was incredibly helpful and saved me a lot of time in drafting long messages to give detailed instructions on how to enter my home, specific needs of my cats, etc. It's clear that Breah is a true cat mother at heart. I have a very skittish senior cat that tends to not like strangers, or sitters, at all. However, after the first day he began to warm up to her and even ate his food in the same room as her (a big step for him). She provided him with his meds, gave him pets, and sent me lots of pictures that gave me peace of mind while I was away. She also took amazing care of my youngest cat, making sure to take time to play with him and his toys and send lots of pictures as well. I highly recommend Breah and will definitely book again in the future!

Breah is awesome with our cats! She’s gentle and loving with them and spends time snuggling and playing with them while she’s here. Our older cat takes his medicine from her without a problem. He’s usually wary of strangers, but comes to her for pets and belly rubs soon after she arrives. She is reliable and always provides high quality care to our fur babies. I definitely recommend her!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
