While I love Maine Coons and calicos, I'm also partial to tabbies. And Siamese. And black cats. And white cats. And domestic shorthairs. And the ones with long floofy coats. And cats with a little mustache under their nose. And orange tomcats. And cats that can shake hands. And cats that purr. And cats that just like to keep my belly or feet warm. But I'm really particularly fond of the ones that breathe. Those are my favorites... Animal lover. Feline worshiper. Curious like a cat. My first cat, a gift from my parents when I turned 10, was a Maine Coon! Since then, I've had many more sweet cats enter my life, and I hope for many, many more.

I am seeking any opportunity to visit, provide care to, or even just slow-blink with your kitties! I can't wait to drop in and tend to the cat members of your family. I have been owned by cats since childhood, and they truly have taught me everything I know about the world. They have even taught me their language, and depending on what dialect your cat speaks, I look forward to lengthy discussions (or short cat chats, if they prefer) with them!

This is our second time booking Fannie for our babies, Teddy and Alice, and we couldn't be happier! They are so comfortable with her and even greet her at the door when she visits. Just like last time, Fannie was an incredible cat-sitter - and this time I have a new addition to the family with a total of 2 rambunctious kitties!! Fannie was prompt, communicative, and took MANY photos and videos of the girls, which put my mind at ease while I was traveling. Fannie took care of my active sphynx kitty and somehow was able to handle her energy and keep her entertained! She sent frequent photos and videos and gave me long daily updates of how my kitty was doing, how she ate, and when her litter was changed out! I’ll definitely work with Fannie in the future!!!

The kitties love their amazing friend Fannie! We are so appreciative of the great, responsible, and attentive care she provides. We are at ease knowing she makes sure they are happy and doing well, and that they have all their necessities and all their little preferences met. She is so on board to learn about their little food quirks and other changing quirks. She provides AMAZING playtime which is so wonderful as they are active, and some very SWEET time for them both as they are social. She really engages them wonderfully, according to their unique personalities. The photos and videos she sends make us smile big. It is great to come home to them and seeing them have such happy and sweet behavior. We are all grateful for Fannie!

Fannie is the best. It’s so hard for us to leave our cat, but she alleviates our stress by sending us pictures of him happy and healthy and well fed. She communicates with us daily and we trust her with our lil furball. Fannie is an obvious pet lover and it makes all the difference. she is WONDERFUL.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

Fannie is the absolute best. It’s so hard to leave our little fur baby behind, but we trust her completely and she makes it so much easier. She takes the funniest photos of our cat, always gives us updates, and makes sure he’s happy and well fed. Our cat can have a bit of an attitude when we’re gone and Fannie takes it all in stride. She is exceptional.

We're so grateful for Fannie's excellent care of our kitty cats. We were a bit nervous as we had not left them before. That melted away after Fannie's first visit with them. She is responsible, patient, and thorough, and has been loving and playful with the kits. The kitties seem to be even better behaved after a few days with her calming and playful presence!
