i live smack dab in the center of hollywood with my partner and our two perfect angels (cats), frank and beans. i adopted frank in 2013, so i’ve been taking care of these lil freaks for a decade now! i’ve been cat-sitting with meowtel since early 2022, and cat-sitting in a less official capacity for friends and neighbors since at least 2013.
i have experience administering oral meds (syringes, pill pockets, and i’m a fast learner), ear drops, and topical meds. all of that is included in my visits if applicable! you also will get *detailed* text updates from me alongside photos and videos (MULTIPLE!!!) of your perfect little angel baby child(ren).
also included in my daily or twice-daily visits:

💕 lots of pets, face rubs, little kisses on the head, and gentle brushing OR gentle respect of their space and personal boundaries if your cat is not into that kinda thang
🌱 i’ll water your plants! i’ll bring in your mail and packages! this is a holistic care package, if you will!
also included in this whole shebang are meet-and-greet visits for new clients! i will come on over to your place at your convenience before the reservation begins and let your little angel(s) give me some hand sniffs. we’ll go over your cat’s care needs and any bits and bobs you need me to know about your cat(s) and/or your space. this is also an excellent time to hand over keys if you aren’t relying on a lockbox!
P.S. i am vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 and will wear a mask to our meet-and-greet (if not only to not get you sick before you travel!). i also wash my hands when i enter your place for each visit!
i work full-time from home as a web developer and have pretty flexible hours and no consistent schedule constraints, but if i have something going on during a reservation you request me for, i’ll let you know up-front.

This is the 2nd time I’ve booked with Brooke and I can honestly say that my cats remember her and love her, which is amazing because some time has passed since the last time she watched the cats so I didn’t expect them to be fully comfortable from the get go. Brooke was incredible with my two boys! attentive, patient, and updated with with the best photos and videos. my cats warmed up to her immediately which is rare. it felt like for the first time i didn’t have to worry at all about anything while i was away and was able to enjoy my time. beer cat sitter i have has on here, will always go to her now !

Brooke is the definition of a sitter who goes "above and beyond." Not only was she a total natural with our little man, but she took every opportunity to make sure our cat was comfortable for the week while we were away. She took extra time to sweep loose litter off the floor, clean out a water filter, and send a TON of photos and videos with an extremely detailed update. Brooke will definitely be our new go-to sitter in the future.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
