Hi! I’m Nicole, and I’m a cat lover! I’m also a general lover of all beings big & small (fun fact: I used to beekeep full time!). I’m based in Hollywood, and am happy to service surrounding neighborhoods.

During the past year I’ve been cat sitting, I realized I have a knack for helping anxious/fearful/nervous kitties feel comfortable in my care. It’s been a gift to cultivate these bonds of trust and security with these particular kitties. I always approach any relationship with a cat from an intuitive point of view. I am able to sense and respect their boundaries as well as move at the pace they set.
I’ve been a guardian of my senior kitty, Timmy, for 5 years, and have learned so much about living with and caring for cats. I’ve learned how much personality a cat can have and how much love they have for those who listen to and care for them. I’m also very patient with cats as I know it takes time to build trust with (some of) them.
I am comfortable with feeding and applying medications to cats(topicals, pills and liquid). I also have experience administering subcutaneous fluids to cats.
COVID Protocol: I am fully up to date with my vaccinations, and will happily wear a mask (N95) in your home. I will treat your home and belongings with the utmost respect, as I believe that everyone’s home is a sacred space and sanctuary.
I’m excited to take care of your kitties if you decide to book my services. I will send visit updates and photos on a daily basis (clients have told me I take great photos (: ). You can rest assured that your babies are in safe and loving hands.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for a year (I started through this app!). It’s been a joy! I’ve cat sat for so many different kitties with different personalities and medical needs. It’s been such a joy to look after especially shy kitties and see them warm up and feel safe in my presence.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do! I have a senior cat (14 years) named Timmy. I’ve had him for 5 years and he’s changed my life. I never had cats growing up since my mom is allergic. I didn’t know how much cats can teach us about love! I am so grateful for my Timtim!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Confirm that the dates do work for me, then schedule a meet and greet where I get to meet the human and kitty in person in their home. I’m also happy to schedule a virtual meet and greet if that is preferred. I will take notes during the meeting and plan to collect keys whenever it is most convenient for my client.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Be patient, gentle and fully present. My own cat was like this when I adopted him. Give them space, but be fully present when they engage with you. Pay attention to their body language— cats are always communicating with you! Be consistent with showing up and create routine. I like to show the cats that I am reliable.

Book Nicole & don’t look back! She took care of our three cats during a vacation & was so communicative about each visit. Nicole took careful note of each cat’s personality, and made an effort to meet their individual needs. We have one very shy girl and another sort of shy boy & by the end the shy boy was playing and co-existing in the same space as Nicole! Nicole also takes great photos for daily updates, is very communicative and personable. Every aspect of Nicole’s personality and approach to this gig put us at ease. This level of attention to detail and willingness to give each cat their own space to warm up in their own time was exactly what we were looking for in a sitter, and we will absolutely be booking Nicole again in the future.

Nicole is a master. My senior cat had just come home from the vet with a daunting medication schedule, and Nicole managed to get every dose into him. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $34.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!

Nicole has the magic touch with shy kitties! I am still shocked and a bit jealous that my babies warmed up SO fast to her! She even broke through the tough exterior of my queen, Bianca, who tolerates other people and only loves me -at least until she met Nicole!

Wow, I can't recommend Nicole enough! She took care of Squeaky and Lloyd while we were away and did an outstanding job. Not only did she follow all my instructions to the letter, but they also went above and beyond to ensure my cats felt comfortable and loved. She even brought in my packages and took the trash out . Every update she sent me included photos was detailed and reassuring, giving me peace of mind during my trip.
