My name is Cayce and I am a cat mom to a sweet senior kitty, thanks to the Cat Distribution System! I approach cats with patience, care, and respect. I take the time to meet each unique cat at their comfort level, whether they’re shy and skittish or bold and energetic.
I offer drop-in visits in the Monterey area and am comfortable administering topical medications. I carefully follow all cat parents’ instructions closely as your cat’s safety, comfort, and routines are my top priority. I also honor and embrace any quirks they may have, so if they want butt pats or have very specific preferences, I am happy to oblige! While you're away, you can look forward to many pictures and videos being sent your way so you can feel confident and connected.

I have a senior kitty named Ming Ming who chose me through the cat distribution system. She’s approximately 17 years old and is still thriving! She loves butt pats!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Your home is a sanctuary for you and your cats, and I treat it with the same respect and care I give to your pets. I ensure that all doors, windows, and gares are securely closed to avoid any espape routes. Their food, water, and litter are tended to and I keep an eye out for anything unusual upon visits such as knocked over items, spills, or signs of stress.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I provide timid or anxious cats plent of space and let them approach me on their own terms. If they’re open to it, I may offer a treat as a little peace offering (but only if it helps them feel more comfortable.)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Marina cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
