Alisa took detailed notes during our walkthrough and carefully followed the instructions I provided. she even spent extra time with her on her last visit to give her more love and attention. Shu took amazing care of our cat during our week away. She sent detailed daily updates with photos and videos, which made being gone so much easier. She was also genuinely proactive, at one point she wanted to verify everything was normal with the litter box, so she monitored it herself and followed up the next day without us even asking. Our cat was happy and relaxed when we got home. Couldn't recommend Shu more, we'll definitely book her again!

Alisa is super communicative especially because we have a kitty that likes to puke only when we are gone. She genuinely cared for the kitty’s health and also did a great job cleaning and showing us the before and after. We love the photos and videos she sends over!

Alisa took great care of our cats and was communicative throughout the stay. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our cats seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned. The only thing was missed is that the water fountain wasn’t refilled before the end of the booking, so it was empty when we got home. It wasn’t a major problem, but it’s something that would have made the experience even better. Overall, we appreciated Alisa’s care and communication and would recommend her.

Thank you for the feedback. With 20-minute visits scheduled three days apart, I was also managing unexpected vomit and accidents, plus an ongoing ant issue around the feeder. I would have appreciated the opportunity to address any concerns directly.

Alisa is great with our shy kitties and respected their space! The cats have learned to come out to eat when she’s around and even get a pet or two, which isn’t super easy for them. She also cleaned up after the cats puked and made sure to show me where those are for deep cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Millbrae cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $39.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
