About my services:
During a Pop-In 20 visit (recommended for a maximum of 2 cats), I take care of all the essentials. I scoop, sweep around the area, refresh food and water, make sure everyone’s settling well, and send a full report with at least one photo of each cat.

Cat sitting is a labor of love for me - to support cats (and their humans.) in the community. I'm a proud cat mom with over 10 years of experience - rescues, fosters, plus three years working in a cat café. I've cared for every type of personality: the spicy, the shy, and the snuggly.
About my services:
During a Pop-In 20 visit (recommended for a maximum of 2 cats), I take care of all the essentials. I scoop, sweep around the area, refresh food and water, make sure everyone’s settling well, and send a full report with at least one photo of each cat.
If your home has multiple cats on different levels, or if anyone needs hands-on medication (like eye wipes, inhalers, or pills that can’t be mixed into food), just let me know ahead of time so we can make sure there’s enough time to give everyone proper attention.
If your cats need more company, or you have a bigger crew, I offer:
Pop-In + Play 45 and 60. These longer visits include all the basics plus playtime, brushing, cozy hangs, and whatever helps your cats feel loved while you’re away. You’ll also get at least four photos so you can enjoy their little daily moments from afar.
I’ve cared for shy cats, pillow-hog cats, senior cats, special-needs cats, and full multi-cat households. I adore them all. Whether your kitty hides under the bed or flops onto my lap within seconds, I meet each personality exactly where they are.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
With over 10 years of cat sitting experience, I’ve had the joy of caring for kitties of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I’m Pet CPR trained, spent 6 years working in pet rescue, and 3 years working hands-on at a cat café (yes, it was as magical as it sounds!). I’ve also fostered over 50 cats—everything from shy seniors to rowdy kittens—and only “foster failed” three times… which I consider an achievement and a badge of honor.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love the magic of earning a cat’s trust. Every cat is so unique - figuring out what makes each one tick (or purr!) is part of the joy.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I took care of two brothers, Bremy and Pongo and loved being able to spend time and play with them. I gave them nicknames and made up songs to sing to them which of course they loved! I also watered the plants, brought in the mail and picked the mangoes which I was allowed to take home!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have four cats - Bo, Thirteen, Sweets and Epponnee - and they are all named after TV show characters!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Interview several sitters until you feel comfortable. It’s hard leaving our babies and you deserve to enjoy your time away from them.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I double/triple check everything. I’ll never leave the property without knowing where the kitty is. I will also leave your property exactly how I found it, tidying as I go and respecting the space, as I would my own.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am very rarely away for the holidays. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work through the holidays with a minimal surcharge
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Cats do what they want, when they want and that’s what I love about them! If they want to hang with me, I love that, but if they don’t, that’s ok too. I talk (and sing) a lot on my visits so they get used to me. I get down to their level, hold out my hand for smells and never stroke them if they don’t instigate it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Orange cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Leaving town for work or vacation is much less stressful when I know Aurora is watching my high-maintenance cats. I trust her utterly with my most precious babies. My two cats have very different personalities, are not always easy to please, and rarely trust anyone but Mom- but they love Aurora and her gentle energy. She makes their fussy special food combinations flawlessly and keeps them happy and fed.
