As a former cat foster parent, I have a good understanding of different cats' needs and personality types. I currently share my house with Gatsby, a very sleepy tuxedo who initially came to me as a foster and never left.
I pride myself on prioritizing your cat's safety and comfort while giving them the same kind of love and care you would! I know how hard it is to be apart from your furry friend, so I make sure to send photos and updates when I look after them.
I have experience applying topicals and administering oral meds, as well as with managing special dietary needs. I take my cues from your cat and meet them at their comfort level.

I fell in love with one of my foster cats and we adopted each other! He is a sweet, mellow tuxedo named Gatsby.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I schedule a meet and greet ahead of the sitting date so I can meet the cat and parent. I check in about the cat's personality, routine, likes and dislikes, and health-related concerns (dietary needs, medications, etc.) I also ask about toys, treats, and unusual behaviors I should look out for, if applicable. When cat sitting, I make sure to provide thorough updates as well as photos. My goal is always to put you and your cat at ease!

I am usually available during holidays! I can't think of a better way to spend my time than making a new furry friend!

Ramola did an incredible job taking care of my two cats. She gave me daily check ins and even stopped by an extra time after my cat had thrown up multiple times to make sure he was okay. I felt reassured that while I was away that my cats were taken care of!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Pacifica cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $38.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
