What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been catsitting since I was about 20 (I’m 30 now) and one of my friends got their first cat. Most of my friends now have cats and I am their go to sitter. This past christmas season I catsat 4 different friends pets.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

yes! i have two kitties, Goose who was adopted from a shelter and Simon who was a stray I rescued off the street.

Are you usually available during holidays?

yes, i am local to los angeles and flexible. i have a car so can drive wherever and typically take vacations during non holiday times.

Jocelyn was so wonderful with our two boy kitties who are sometimes a bit slow to warm up to strangers. They were greeting her at the door by the time the reservation was done which is rare for them! Photo updates were at consistent times every day and the kitties did great. We also have a difficult to access apartment with complex instructions, and Jocelyn was great at working around it.

Jocelyn was very friendly and did a great job taking care of my Gary. He's shy but he did manage to come out to say hi to her several times. She gave me regular updates and managed to snap some pictures to show that Gary was slowly engaging with her. I would definitely book Jocelyn again!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
